That\u2019s why, at Schneider Electric, Safety is our first priority, not only for our people in the field, but also for any of our workers and, of course, our customers.<\/p>\n<p> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.schneider-electric.com\/en\/work\/services\/field-services\/electrical-distribution\/operate\/training\/electrical-safety.jsp\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-55663\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.schneider-electric.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Safety-CTA.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.schneider-electric.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Safety-CTA.png 600w, https:\/\/blog.schneider-electric.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Safety-CTA-300x150.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<h4><strong>Lock Out Tag Out (L.O.T.O)<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>To protect ourselves and perform work in an Electrical safe condition, we must fully understand and follow all the steps of the LOTO process; the seven steps of Lock Out Tag Out safety:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Prepare <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Shut down the load<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Disconnect the sources of energy<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Lock<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Verify<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Ground<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Protect adjacent conductors<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/HTR7_xLQ0EQ?feature=oembed\" width=\"100%\" height=\"420\" frameborder=\"0\" ><\/iframe> <\/p>\n<p>Following all the steps is highly important; at the end of the job Schneider Electrics\u2019 person in charge sign off that steps from 1 to 7 are completed. Then, the customer representative signs to confirm that all the steps have been followed.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>S.A.F.E. First<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>We understand that achieving a safe environment depends on external factors but also on us as individuals.
