We start with perhaps the creepiest story we have had in a while. Over in China, an Airbnb “Superhost” was caught taping renters in the bedroom. Where the camera was hidden will really surprise you. From there, we head to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, where a couple who was purchasing their dream home had the surprise of their lives \u2014 the money didn’t go to the seller, instead it went to a scammer.<\/p>\n

The third story stays in the world of crime, where the NYPD is asking Bitcoin ATM companies for help in cracking down on a new round of phone scams. To close things out, we look at the curious tale of an app suddenly (from its users’ perspective) changing business model from hosting images to harvesting photos for facial recognition.<\/p>\n
