Google has partnered with a group of companies, nonprofits, and academic institutions to begin a project called OpenTitan, which sets out to make a more secure chip that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wired.com\/story\/open-titan-open-source-secure-enclave\/?itm_campaign=TechinTwo\">lifts the curtain<\/a> on the secret information that chips are usually built upon.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Facebook&#x27;s logo <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wired.com\/story\/facebook-logo-brand-facelift\/?itm_campaign=TechinTwo\">gets a face-lift<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Facebook has had a rough few years, but now the company is taking a step to spruce up its logo and rebrand\u2014OK, maybe not quite <em>rebrand.<\/em> The company announced Monday it would <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wired.com\/story\/facebook-logo-brand-facelift\/?itm_campaign=TechinTwo\">change from Facebook to FACEBOOK<\/a> (that&#x27;s not a typo), and says that its new &quot;subtle softening of corners and diagonals&quot; will add &quot;a sense of optimism.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>That&#x27;s about how much it would cost per year to deploy presidential candidate Andrew Yang&#x27;s &quot;freedom dividend,&quot; which would give every American $1,000 a month.
