The attack, <a href=\"http:\/\/Malware spread through PornHub\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">reported by Proofpoint<\/a>, was the work of the KovCoreG group.<\/p>\n<p> <a href=\"https:\/\/d1srlirzdlmpew.cloudfront.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/92\/2017\/10\/10123339\/pornhub-malvertising-featured.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/d1srlirzdlmpew.cloudfront.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/92\/2017\/10\/10123339\/pornhub-malvertising-featured.jpg\" alt=\"Malware spread through PornHub\" width=\"1460\" height=\"960\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-19699\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>You might reflexively say, <em>This can&#8217;t harm me!<\/em> or <em>Who watches porn on the Internet?<\/em> but PornHub is a very popular site, and that makes the threat relevant to more people than you might expect. According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alexa.com\/siteinfo\/pornhub.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Alexa<\/a>, the site is currently ranked the twentieth most popular site in the US, and thirty-seventh in the world.
