{"id":15508,"date":"2019-06-05T12:10:03","date_gmt":"2019-06-05T20:10:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.palada.net\/index.php\/2019\/06\/05\/news-9257\/"},"modified":"2019-06-05T12:10:03","modified_gmt":"2019-06-05T20:10:03","slug":"news-9257","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.palada.net\/index.php\/2019\/06\/05\/news-9257\/","title":{"rendered":"Malwarebytes Labs wins best cybersecurity vendor blog at InfoSec&#8217;s European Security Blogger Awards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Credit to Author: Christopher Boyd| Date: Wed, 05 Jun 2019 19:21:07 +0000<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Infosec Europe is now <a href=\"https:\/\/www.infosecurityeurope.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">well underway<\/a>, and last night was the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.surveymonkey.com\/r\/eubloggerawards2019\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">annual EU Security Blogger Awards<\/a>, where InfoSecurity Magazine:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>&#8230;recognise[s] the best blogs in the industry as first nominated by peers and then judged by a panel of (mostly) respected industry experts.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Malwarebytes Labs was announced as winner of the Best Cybersecurity Vendor Blog. We previously won best corporate security blog in <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.malwarebytes.com\/security-world\/2015\/06\/the-infosec-europe-and-bsides-london-round-up\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">2015<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.malwarebytes.com\/security-world\/2016\/07\/the-ipexpo-infosec-europe-blogger-awards-roundup\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">2016<\/a>, and we were delighted to see we had several other nominations this year:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Best commercial Twitter account (<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Malwarebytes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">@Malwarebytes<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Most educational blog for user awareness<\/li>\n<li>Security hall of fame (for our own <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.malwarebytes.com\/author\/jeromesegura\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">J\u00e9r\u00f4me Segura<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Grand Prix for best overall blog<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It\u2019s excellent to be recognised alongside such legendary security pros as Graham Cluley, Mikko Hypp\u00f6nen, and Troy Hunt, as well as fellow security companies Tripwire, Sophos, Bitdefender, and many others.
