{"id":19272,"date":"2022-06-07T05:21:47","date_gmt":"2022-06-07T13:21:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.palada.net\/index.php\/2022\/06\/07\/news-13005\/"},"modified":"2022-06-07T05:21:47","modified_gmt":"2022-06-07T13:21:47","slug":"news-13005","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.palada.net\/index.php\/2022\/06\/07\/news-13005\/","title":{"rendered":"Sophos Celebrates Pride 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/news.sophos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/sophos-pride-social-media-1200\u00d7627-banners-2021.png\"\/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Credit to Author: victoriatownsley| Date: Tue, 07 Jun 2022 11:06:55 +0000<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"entry-content lg:prose-lg mx-auto prose max-w-4xl\">\n<p>Sophos has kicked off its Pride month celebrations with a series of events that celebrate diversity, show support for our LGBTQ+ community, and demonstrate our commitment to providing a work environment where all employees have the freedom to be themselves.<\/p>\n<p>Our employee-led LGBTQ+ Network has put together a program of events and activities including virtual online bingo sessions hosted by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sfoasis.com\/\">Oasis SF<\/a>, Pride parties in some office locations around the world, and support for employees taking part in Pride Parades and festivals in cities in the US, UK and Canada.<\/p>\n<p>Employees can also access a library of resources covering a wide range of LGBTQ+ issues including the history of Pride, support for coming out in the workplace, and understanding different pronouns.<\/p>\n<p>We are also currently undergoing a worldwide review of both Sophos and government-funded benefit plans to ensure that equal access to medical services is available, including gender-affirming medical care, where legally acceptable.
